Ages 3-18

Classes meet once a week at the scheduled time from September to May.

Commitment required! The year ends with a Spring Recital in May.

Class Schedule

Classes for the ‘24-’25 season are filling up quickly. Please call or email to ensure availability in your desired class(es). All classes are subject to change based on enrollment numbers.

Dress Code

GIRLS DRESS CODE FOR BALLET & TAP

Black leotard with white tights, Black tap shoes

Pink leather or canvas ballet slippers (We recommend the Bloch “Performa” or the So Danca “Bliss” styles. They are great as they have no ties.)

BOYS DRESS CODE FOR BALLET & TAP

White T-shirt Black sweatpants/shorts, Black ballet slippers Black tap shoes

GIRLS DRESS CODE FOR JAZZ & TAP/ JAZZ & HIP-HOP CLASSES

Black leotard, Black convertible tights, Black shorts-no pants or leggings,

JAZZ: Black slip-on jazz shoes

TAP: Black Tap shoes

HIP-HOP: Clean white sneakers (designated for classroom use only)

Step 2: Fill out our registration form!

After you choose which class(es) you would like to register your child for, simply fill out this registration form and email or mail it to the studio. Please call before registering, several classes are full at this time.

Classes Begin Monday, September 9th!

We only accept cash or checks for tuition payments.

Step 3: Read over our policies and helpful reminders!

1. Please label all shoes and bags with first and last names!

2. Please read all the notices posted on the bulletin board,  and all notices sent home with your child. These notices will also be sent to you via email.

3. Please follow the seasonal payment plan.

4. Class payments are expected at the first classes of September, December, and March. Please wait for your receipt and hold on to them for your records.

5. All taps shoes must have elastic straps on them.

6. All class payments are payable in cash or check. Please make checks out to the West Roxbury School of Dance. We do not accept credit or debit cards.

7. The studio has parent “Watch Week” in the first week of December and the last week of April. More information to follow.

8. The school has an annual recital in May.  Watch for details throughout the year.

9. Long hair should be pulled up away from the child’s face in a bun, ponytail, or braid.
