Registration for the 2025-2026 school year is now open!

Classes meet once a week at the scheduled time from September to May.

Commitment required! The year ends with a Spring Recital in May.

Dress Code

GIRLS DRESS CODE FOR BALLET & TAP

Black leotard with white tights, Black tap shoes (elastic strap preferred) , Pink leather or canvas ballet slippers

(We recommend the Bloch “Performa” or the So Danca “Bliss” styles. They are great as they have no ties.)

BOYS DRESS CODE FOR BALLET & TAP

White T-shirt Black sweatpants/shorts, Black ballet slippers Black tap shoes

Black leotard, Black convertible tights, Black shorts-no pants or leggings,

JAZZ: Black slip-on jazz shoes

Step 2: Fill out our registration form!

After you choose which class(es) you would like to register your child for, simply fill out this registration form and email or mail it to the studio.

A payment of $250 is due upon registration to secure your spot. This payment covers a $20 nonrefundable registration fee and Fall tuition ($230 for September, October and November classes).

We accept cards, bank transfer, cash or check for tuition payments. Enjoy a $10 discount for cash or check payments (total of $240 due).

Step 3: Read over our policies and helpful reminders!

  1. Our school runs on a 9-month program, from September to May. Please check your email or our website for our School Calendar for all important dates.

  2. Please label all shoes and dance bags with first and last names.

  3. Hair should be pulled up away from the child’s face in a bun, ponytail, or braid.

  4. Please read all notices posted on the bulletin board and notices sent to you via email. If you have not received any emails by the end of September, please contact us or visit the front desk.

  5. Please follow the seasonal payment plan. Class payments are expected at the first classes of September, December, and March. Please wait for your receipt and hold on to them for your records.

  6. All class payments are payable in cash, check, bank transfer, or credit cards. We offer a discount for cash or check payments. Please make checks out to the West Roxbury School of Dance.

  7. “Watch Week” takes place in December and April.

  8. The school has an annual recital in May. Details will be announced during the year.
